Sunset Sudoku

This section is applicable to the Sunset Sudoku app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by sirimiri labs (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad-Supported service. This service is provided "AS IS".

1. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information: The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and register the Application. Registration is not mandatory, but using features such as the Daily Challenge or Leaderboards requires a username.

  • Usernames: Optionally collected to display on public leaderboards.
  • Purchase History: If you purchase the Premium upgrade, we retain a record of this purchase to validate your license and restore it on other devices.
  • App Interactions: We collect data on game progress (e.g. puzzles completed, daily challenge stats) to support app features (leaderboards) and for analytics purposes.

Automatically Collected Information: In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically via third-party services, including:

  • Device Identifiers: Unique device IDs (advertising ID) for ad delivery and analytics.
  • Approximate Location: Derived from your IP address to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud.
  • Crash Logs & Diagnostics: Data related to app performance and stability.

2. Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider shares your information with the following third-party services, which have their own Privacy Policies:

  • AdMob (Google): For displaying ads and fraud prevention. Link
  • Firebase (Google): For authentication (anonymous login), database storage (Firestore), and analytics. Link
  • RevenueCat: For processing in-app purchases and managing subscriptions. Link
  • Expo: For push notifications and over-the-air updates. Link

3. Data Retention & Deletion Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Automatically Collected information is retained for up to 24 months.

How to Request Deletion: If you wish to delete your account and all associated data (including leaderboard stats and purchase history), contact us at developer@sirimirilabs.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

We will verify your identity and process the deletion within a reasonable timeframe, typically 30 days.

4. Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. The Application is configured to serve Non-Personalized Ads to users known to be under 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, this will be immediately deleted from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (developer@sirimirilabs.com).

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, all data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS, and access to this information is limited to authorized personnel.
